DC Police Officer Killed In Motorcycle Crash On I-95 In Virginia Another veteran officer from the Metropolitan Police Department has been killed in a motorcycle crash.  The agency announced that Second District Officer Nelson Casillas, an eight-year veteran of the department, was involved in a serious crash in Virginia and died from his injuries on Wednesday, June 7.
