29-Year-Old Still Hospitalized After Near Drowning In McLean Stream: Police A 29-year-old man remains in a hospital days after nearly drowning in a stream in Fairfax County, authorities said.  The man was swimming with friends in the stream near a portion of the Difficult Run River that runs along Georgetown Pike in McLean on Sunday, June 19, just after 6 p.m., Fairfax County police said.  Authorities said at some point, he dove underwater but did not come back up.
