At around 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, an extensive search was conducted on a large tract of land adjacent to Church Hill Road and Desha Road in Essex County in an attempt to locate Watkins, who has not been heard from since December. Deputies responded to the 10800 block of Heatherwood Drive around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, after a concerned friend reported not hearing from one of the residents.  Upon entering the home, the friend discovered the body of a woman and immediately called 911, according to the sheriff's office. Toddler's Death In DC Ruled Homicide By Blunt Force Injuries, Police Say The death of a 1-year-old boy who was killed during an incident last week in Southeast DC has been ruled a homicide by the Chief Medical Examiner. Members of the Metropolitan Police Department were called shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22 to a home in the 1800 block of 18th Street SE, where they found Jordan Ballard unresponsive. The child was rushed by DC Fire and EMS personnel to an area hospital, where, despite lifesaving measures, he died.
