Suspicious Person Repeatedly Approached Teen Girl In Woodbridge: Police

Alarm bells are sounding for some in Prince William County following multiple reports from a teen girl about a stranger who repeatedly approached her on her way to school.

An alert was issued by the police on Monday morning as they continue to investigate a reported suspicious person who was spotted by a 17-year-old teen at least three times in the past week.

The latest incident was reported at around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11 in the 14200 block of Smoketown Road in Woodbridge after he showed up around 7 a.m. that morning.

According to police, the unknown man typically approached her near the Prince William Square Shopping Center, and during those encounters, "the man would make statements prompting concern." 

There has been no physical contact, though the incidents were reported, prompting police to be notified.

The suspect was described as being a bald Black man who was approximately 5-foot-3 with a small build, clean-shaven face, and spoke with an accent.
