Convict On The Loose After Violent Break-In At Manassas Apartment: Police

A convicted felon who broke into a woman's apartment and assaulted her while brandishing a handgun is at large, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

David Alejandro Marchorro Guerra, 35, is wanted following an incident that was reported earlier this week at the Sudley Crossing Apartments in the 10800 block of Gambril Drive in Manassas.

According to police, a 35-year-old woman reported that Marchorro Guerra broke into her home through a locked patio door and struck her while armed with a handgun.

Marchorro Guerra fled the apartment before officers arrived. Minor injuries were reported. 

The Manassas resident is now wanted for: 

  • Burglary while armed;
  • Brandishing of a firearm;
  • Two counts of felony domestic assault and battery;
  •  Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony;
  • Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon;
  • Destruction of property.

He was described as being Hispanic, 5-foot-9 weighing approximately 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. As of Friday morning, attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.
