At approximately 6:50 p.m. on Friday night, officers were alerted by a License Plate Reader about a car reported stolen out of Maryland that was also wanted in connection to a felony robbery in Arlington earlier this week in the 6200 block of Duke Street. Man Killed By Vehicle Inside Enclosed Construction Site In Virginia, Police Say (Developing) One person was killed by a vehicle in a construction site in Alexandria on Wednesday morning, police say. Shortly after 7:30 a.m. on July 24, officers were called to the 5700 block of Duke Street, where there was a reported injury. Upon arrival, a spokesperson for the Alexandria Police Department says that they found a man inside the enclosed construction site who was fatally struck by the vehicle.
