A man wanted on an out-of-state warrant was arrested in Connecticut following a fight with officers that included him choking a police dog, officials said.
Wesley Aldridge, age, 35, of Washington, DC, was being held on a $100,000 bond following his arrest on Wednesday, Aug. 28, on several felonies, Connecticut Police said.

The Stafford County Sheriff's Office let the dogs out, and it resulted in a suspect being swiftly apprehended, officials say.
Kayshawn Purdie, 25, was quick, but he wasn't quick enough to outrun police K9 Titan, who was key in taking down the man wanted for an assault.
According to a spokesperson from the sheriff's office, shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, deputies were called to Garrison Woods to investigate a reported assault.

Chaos broke out at an unsupervised party in Stafford County that got out of hand and a fight spilled out into the street, according to the sheriff's office.
Shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, deputies were called to a home on Clear Spring Lane to investigate a report of a fight that resulted in charges for five women and a man who involved in the altercation.
Responding deputies were able to separate the people involved in the incident.
