Mother, Daughter Among 3 Virginians Killed In 4 Maryland Crashes Over 35 Hours: State Police
Maryland roads turned deadly again and again over the weekend.
Seven people were killed in four separate crashes between early Saturday, Aug. 29, and Sunday afternoon, including a mother and daughter from Virginia and three people who died in the weekend's final wreck, according to Maryland State Police.
The crashes stretched across Carroll, Montgomery, Harford and Allegany counties, with three unfolding in less than 24 hours.
The first came shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday.

Musammat Shamima Begum, 46, of Burke, and her daughter, Areebah Jahin, 23, of Alexandria, were riding in a Toyota Camry on I-270 in Montgomery County on Saturday, Aug. 29, when police say a Mustang came at them from the wrong direction.
