A District man will spend decades in prison after pleading guilty mid-trial for an attempted murder that was caught on camera in Maryland, authorities announced. The 22-year-old saw the writing on the wall and admitted his guilt in the middle of a jury trial earlier this year in connection to his role in a shooting in a well-known Silver Spring alleyway following a wild chase in June 2022, according to the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office. Herndon Man Sentenced For Soliciting Undercover Agent Posing As Minor Online: Prosecutors
A 66-year-old Herndon man who was caught during an undercover sting operation preying on who he believed was a minor online in Loudoun County has been sentenced. Julio Camajuare Cisneros avoided the maximum sentence following an investigation into his activities online when he solicited a teenager he knew was underage, according to the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney. Two former members of the Metropolitan Police Department will spend years on the other side of the bars after being sentenced for their roles in an unauthorized police pursuit that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old new father, federal authorities announced. A 17-year-old has been sentenced to decades in prison for his role in the murder of a man they abducted after an altercation in a DC nightclub, the Charles County State's Attorney's Office announced. Nijuan Wilson was sentenced by a judge to life in prison with all but 30 years suspended in connection to the death of Deangelo Beale last summer.
