A 14-year-old boy from Virginia has been charged in connection with a mass shooting threat made towards a community pool in Pennsylvania, police announced on Friday, Oct. 18. The boy who lives in Colonial Beach, VA, "made specific and repeated threats" on social media on Friday, June 28 to commit a shooting at the Ephrata Community Pool on Saturday, June 29, the Ephrata Police Department detailed in the release. A 23-year-old woman is facing charges after a Good Samaritan picked up a toddler found walking alone in the streets outside a Prince William County apartment. A death investigation has been launched in Prince William County after a body was found inside a parked vehicle in Dumfries over the weekend. Officers were called shortly before 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, to the 17100 block of Wayside Drive, where a Good Samaritan located the dead body in the area.
