One person is in custody and another is wanted in connection to a murder-for-hire conspiracy that left a 23-year-old woman from North Carolina dead in Prince William County, police say. Drew Courtney Buchanan, 27 has been arrested in connection to the murder of Burlington resident Egypt Zapporah Carter in February, authorities announced on Monday. A shooting suspect is at large after a man died at the hospital from gunshot wounds in Alexandria, police say. Local resident Carl Harris has been identified by investigators as the person who was shot and killed during an incident over the weekend. A man and woman were found shot to death in a Prince William County basement, and a possible suspect connected to the double homicide has been apprehended in New Jersey, police say.
