Minor Killed, Six Injured In Virginia Crash With Private Company Ambulance
A minor was killed in a Loudoun County crash involving an ambulance on Friday night, police say. Shortly after 9 p.m. on Aug. 2, officers from the Leesburg Police Department were called to the intersection of East Market Street and the Leesburg Bypass, when a Honda being driven by a juvenile was involved in a crash with a private company ambulance. DUI Driver Had Drink, Open Smirnoff Bottle In Car Before Crash, Stafford Sheriff Says
Deputies didn't have to work hard to determine that a driver was under the influence before smashing into a tree in Stafford County, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies were called late in the afternoon on Friday to the 600 block of Rock Hill Church Road, when Nokesville native Frances Thompson, 54, lost control and came to a half after striking a tree. New details have been released by the Fairfax County Police Department after a 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle crash that shut down Route 28 in Chantilly on Thursday afternoon. A Virginia woman has been identified as the person killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Prince George's County that left another person with serious injuries. Springfield resident Tamecka Allen, 41, was killed in a midday three-vehilce crash in Beltsville on Friday that required a second person to be extricated from their vehicle, authorities said on Monday. Angel Gabriel Flores was looking forward to his 21st birthday when he was involved in a fatal motorcycle crash in Spotsylvania, his family says. Late in the afternoon on Saturday, June 8, Flores was involved in a crash with a 74-year-old man in a sedan in the area of Benchmark Road and Cahill Street.
