Police in Virginia are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of peeping inside a women’s restroom at a local library. Officers were called at 11:43 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, to Aurora Hills Library in the 700 block of 18th Street S. for a report of disorderly conduct, Arlington County Police said. The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was inside a restroom when the man entered and allegedly looked under her stall, according to police. Student Stalked By Substitute Teacher, Arlington Officials Say
An Arlington Public Schools substitute teacher has been arrested on charges of sexual misconduct involving a student, and police are seeking additional victims, officials announced. Timothy McGhee, 47, of Alexandria, VA, was arrested on January 10 following a criminal investigation by the Arlington County Police Department’s Special Victims Unit. McGhee is charged with taking indecent liberties with a child by a person in a supervisory or custodial relationship and stalking, police said. Police in Arlington are warning residents to stay alert after a series of sexual battery incidents in an otherwise quiet neighborhood in recent weeks. The Arlington County Police Department’s Special Victims Unit is investigating three reported cases of sexual battery in the Arlington Mill area and is urging any additional victims to come forward.
