Man Shot Dead Near VA Border, $25K Reward Offered As Officers Hunt Killer: Police
A man was gunned down in broad daylight in Prince George’s County, and now police are offering $25,000 for help catching whoever pulled the trigger.
Demetrius Moore, 41, of Largo, was found shot to death outside on Friday afternoon, August 1, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.
Officers were called around 4:45 p.m. to the 200 block of Harry S. Truman Drive, where they found Moore suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Homicide detectives are now trying to determine a motive and identify the shooter or shooters.

Police ID 21-Year-Old Man Found Shot To Death In Area Neighborhood
A 21-year-old man was shot and killed in a targeted attack early Sunday morning in Maryland, police said.
J’len Livingston, of Clinton, was fatally shot around 1 a.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2025, in the 7500 block of Allendale Drive in Landover, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene after receiving a report of a shooting. Livingston was taken to a hospital, where he later died, officials confirmed.
The deadly shooting is believed to have been a targeted attack and was not random.
