NJ Sgt Won't Face Charges In Deadly Crash That Killed Virginia Man: AG
A grand jury declined to indict a New Jersey State Police Staff Sergeant for his involvement in a pursuit that ended in the death of a 20-year-old Virginia man last year, authorities announced Friday, Dec. 19.
Scott Segreaves, Jr., a 20-year-old Zuni, Virginia resident killed in a crash on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024after being pursued by Staff Sergeant Nicholas Pryszlak, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said.
At 10:24 p.m., Segreaves was driving on Walter Street in Milford Borough when Pryszlak attempted to catch up to his vehicle in connection with a speeding violation, Platkin said.
