Deadly Deer Disease Outbreak In Multiple Counties, Virginia Confirmed By MD Health Officials
A deadly disease is sweeping through Maryland’s white-tailed deer population, with multiple counties seeing reports of dead or sick animals, state officials confirmed.
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced on Sept. 10 that Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease (EHD) has been confirmed and is the likely cause of deer deaths in central and southern counties.
