Legendary Maryland Fire Chief David Dwyer Dies After More Than 65 Years Of Service

The longtime Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad leader, mentor, and architect of generations of volunteer service has died, according to announcements shared Tuesday, May 26, by fire officials.
For more than six decades, Dwyer was a constant presence in Montgomery County emergency services.
