Dollar Tree has finalized the sale of its struggling Family Dollar chain to two investment firms for a little more than $1 billion. Brigade Capital Management and Macellum Capital Management have completed their $1.007 billion cash purchase of Chesapeake, Virginia-based Family Dollar.
