The 9-year-old girl who died after being rescued from Hersheypark’s wave pool last week has been identified as Sophia Subedi, a resident of Harrisburg’s Bhutanese community.
Sophia, born in 2016 in Mount Carmel, Columbus, Ohio, had lived in Harrisburg since 2022. Kyle Snyder, the youngest American to win Olympic gold in wrestling, was arrested in a prostitution sting in Columbus, Ohio, police announced on Monday, May 13.
The 28-year-old was caught during an undercover operation by the Columbus Division of Police’s Police and Community Together (PACT) unit, aimed at curbing prostitution on the city’s north side, according to Sgt. Joe Albert.
