Fishermen Find 46-Year-Old Man Floating In Virginia Waters: Police Fishermen enjoying the water this weekend in Virginia came upon a grisly discovery when they found a floating body in their wake, police say. Officers from the Prince William County Police Department were called to the area of the 500 block of Harbor Side Street in Woodbridge to probe a death that was reported in the area. Police say that members of a fishing vessel in the area found the body floating in the water, prompting a call to fire and rescue personnel, who were able to remove the body from the water and confirm the death. Decomposed Body Found Behind Virginia Gas Station: Police A death investigation has been launched in Prince William County after a decomposing body was found behind a Woodbridge gas station. Shortly after noon on Wednesday, Sept. 11, officers responded to Exxon in the 2400 block of Prince William Parkway, where they found the body of a presumed male who was found between the dumpster and surrounding brick enclosure. The body was taken to the Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy to confirm the identity and determine the cause of death.  No foul play is suspected. More information is expected to be released. Virginia Parents Who Abused 19-Month-Old Son Before His Mysterious Death Arrested, Cops Say Two parents charged in the death of their 19-month-old son have been arrested in Virginia, police said. Richard Osmin Ascencio, 31, and Jakeline Sanchez, 28, both of Woodbridge, are both wanted for felony child abuse, the county police department said. Officers were called to their Granby Road home on Jan. 22, 2023 where firefighters found their 19-month-old child unresponsive, police said.
