Toddler's Death In DC Ruled Homicide By Blunt Force Injuries, Police Say
The death of a 1-year-old boy who was killed during an incident last week in Southeast DC has been ruled a homicide by the Chief Medical Examiner. Members of the Metropolitan Police Department were called shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22 to a home in the 1800 block of 18th Street SE, where they found Jordan Ballard unresponsive. The child was rushed by DC Fire and EMS personnel to an area hospital, where, despite lifesaving measures, he died. District Man Accused Of Murdering 60-Year-Old Girlfriend In Maryland, Police Say
A 65-year-old man from DC has been accused of murdering his girlfriend in Prince George's County, authorities announced. William Snipes has been charged with multiple counts of murder following an investigation into the death of Capitol Heights resident Sharon Moore who was treated for traumatic injuries earlier this summer.
