New court records show the sprawling case against the Ephrata man accused of stealing human remains from historic cemeteries has officially been sent to county court. Jonathan Gerlach, 34, waived his preliminary hearing on Wednesday, June 3, on 494 criminal counts tied to what prosecutors have described as one of the largest grave robbery investigations in Pennsylvania history. A solo sailor was rescued by a luxury cruise ship nearly 500 miles off the US coast after his sailboat was disabled in harsh conditions, officials said.
