VA Man Sexually Assaulted NJ Teen Multiple Times In 2003, Prosecutor Says
A 40-year-old Virginia man has been charged with sexual assault in Bergen County, NJ, authorities said.
David Persaud, of Woodbridge, VA, is accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile multiple times in 2003 in Englewood, NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
At the time, the victim was between 13 and 18 years old, Musella said.
The investigation into Persaud was launched on Wednesday, May 29. He was arrested on Thursday, Aug. 8 at his home in Virginia and remanded to the Prince William County Adult Detention Center pending extradition to New Jersey.

A naked man who put on a show for a 35-year-old woman near a Prince William County business has been arrested, according to police.
Orlando Jacob Barrett, 36, who has no fixed address, investigators noted, was arrested late last week and charged with multiple counts of indecent exposure, authorities announced on Monday.

Prince William County police shot and killed an armed 22-year-old man following an overnight incident in Woodbridge, authorities said.
Officers were called to a home on the 3400 block of Caledonia Circle on reports of a suicidal person around 8:20 p.m., county police said in a release.
