Barking Dog Rescued From Rubble Days After Virginia Home Explosion
They say cats have nine lives, but a dog in Virginia has at least two after being found in the rubble of the Haymarket home explosion nearly a week later. On Monday morning, Prince William Professional Firefighter crews were called to the site of the home explosion in the 5900 block of Colby Hunt Court, when there was a report of a dog barking from inside the remnants of the residence. Arborist Electrocuted Cutting Tres In Virginia: Police
An arborist was killed on the job while chopping tres in Alexandria, officials confirmed on Sunday. Shortly after 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, members of the Alexandria Fire and Police departments were called to the unit block of West Mount Ida Avenue, where there was report of a worker suffering from injuries after coming into contact with an electrical wire. All's well that ends well. Multiple agencies in the DMV region were on hand on Thursday night, when a strange scene involving two vessels played out on the Potomac River, officials say. Shortly before 11 p.m. on July 4, a distress call was made regarding a boat taking on water after striking an unlit buoy in the area of Piscataway Creek on the river, leaving the vessel disabled.
