Shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 30, investigators were called to the 14700 block of Telegraph Road, where they found the skeletal remains of an adult found inside a tent inside a wooded area.
A spokesperson from the Prince William County Police Department said that the remains have been transported to the Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy to confirm the identity of the body and determine the exact cause and manner of death.
"At this time, there is no threat to the community concerning the death," they said.
More information is expected to be released.
