Police in Alexandria are pulling out all the stops as they look to track down a man who attempted to abduct a woman near an area park. Officers were called to Tarleton Park at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday night in the area of South Gordon Street and Wheeler Avenue, when a man attempted to take a woman. A 36-year-old man is accused of raping a girl under 15 years old in northern Virginia, police said. Dennis William Caballero Mejia, of Woodbridge, was at a house on Gloucester Court with the victim on May 21 when he prevented the girl from leaving a room and sexually assaulted her, Prince William County police said.
