USPS Shipping Rate Hikes About To Begin: See What's Changing
Sending many packages through the US Postal Service will cost more in a few days. USPS shipping rates are set to increase on Sunday, Jan. 18. The agency's governing board approved the proposal and filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission in mid-November 2025. A pair of out-of-state scammers are facing charges after allegedly swindling a 77-year-old Virginia woman out of more than $130,000 in a months-long scheme, according to Prince William County police.
