A chaotic encounter at a Manassas apartment complex ended with a 20-year-old man facing a laundry list of charges after attempting to flee from police twice and assaulting officers. Officers were called to Soldiers Ridge Apartments in the 11200 block of Soldiers Ridge Circle at around 2:40 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 9 to investigate reports of a person brandishing a weapon, according to a Prince William County Police Department spokesperson. An allegedly intoxicated driver tried to take on members of the Prince William County Police Department during an early morning stop on Sunday. Johari Prakhar, 24, did not go down quietly after the Woodbridge man was stopped shortly before 2 a.m. on Nov. 3 near the 14000 block of Richmond Highway, not far from the Marumsco Plaza parking lot.
