Police ID 23-Year-Old Killed Near Virginia Apartment Complex A shooting suspect is at large after a man died at the hospital from gunshot wounds in Alexandria, police say. Local resident Carl Harris has been identified by investigators as the person who was shot and killed during an incident over the weekend. Shortly before 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, officers from the Alexandria Police Department were called to the 800 block of Manor Road, where there was a report of shots fired with one person down.
