Urgent 'Do Not Drive' Alert Issued As Ford Warns About Dangerous Steering Issues Thousands of Ford owners are being urged not to drive their vehicles because of suspension problems that could raise the risk of a crash, federal regulators said. Ford has recalled and issued a "Do Not Drive" warning for 4,653 vehicles, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report filed on Wednesday, May 27.
