NY Teacher Arrested For Sex Crime Charges Out Of VA: State Police A 45-year-old teacher from Amherst, NY (Erie County) has been arrested for sex crimes stemming from Virginia, authorities said. Geoffrey J. Testa was arrested on a warrant for multiple felony child exploitation charges out of Fairfax, VA on Friday, Jan. 31, the New York State Police said. Testa is a teacher at Amherst Central High School. He was processed and taken to Erie County Holding Center on the arrest warrant awaiting extradition. Anyone with information can contact the NYSP at 585-344-6200

Parolee Wanted For Sexual Abuse Of Child In NY Could Be In VA: Police New York State Police is asking the public for help locating a man on parole who is wanted for the sexual abuse of a child in Orange County. According to State Police, Juan A. Gonzalez Gomez, age 25, originally from Honduras, is wanted on an active warrant in Orange County for sex abuse, endangering the welfare of a child, and forcible touching. He is also wanted on two active parole violation warrants and may have traveled to Virginia, police said. Triple Murder Suspect Captured By US Marshals After 100 MPH NY Pursuit (Update) A 23-year-old woman wanted in the killings of her three roommates is in custody. Alyssa Venable was captured with help from the US Marshals Service on Thursday, June 6 around 5:45 p.m., following a pursuit that reached speeds of up to 100 mph on I-86 in Steuben County, NY, the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office announced. Troopers deployed a tire deflation device, causing Venable to crash, authorities said.
