Richard William Ellis, 48, of Newburg, was sentenced to five years in prison with all but 142 days suspended after pleading guilty to 19 counts of second-degree assault, the Charles County State’s Attorney’s Office announced Friday, May 16. Wade Ponce De Leon, 31, was arrested Monday morning, April 21, after deputies responded to a suspicious activity call near Stone Hill Middle School in Ashburn, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
