A 23-year-old man has been charged with multiple counts of murder in connection to the fatal shooting of Bowie native Jakel Stone on Saturday. Hyattsville resident Lawrence Fox, Jr. has been identified and charged for his alleged role in the death of Stone, 34, in Landover during the holiday weekend, authorities announced on Wednesday. According to the Prince George's County Police Department, officers were called on Saturday, Aug. 31, where they found Stone in the 6900 block of Hawthorne Street suffering from gunshot wounds in a parking lot. Hyattsville resident Brayan Anthony Acevedo was arrested overnight in Prince William County following a reported incident where he abused a woman and refused to let her get out of his car. Teens Charged As Adults For Fatal Shooting Of 19-Year-Old In Maryland, Police Say
Two teens have been charged in connection to the fatal midday shooting of a 19-year-old Chillum man in Prince George's County earlier this year, authorities announced. Shortly after noon on April 10, officers were called to the 500 block of Chillum Road, where they found Carlos Hernandez-Ortiz suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
