Missing 17-Year-Old Cocker Spaniel Saved From Culvert Pipe In Spotsylvania A missing 17-year-old Cocker Spaniel had to be saved from a perilous position by first responders in Spotsylvania after getting caught in a culvert pipe. On Tuesday afternoon, Spotsylvania Court Fire, Rescue and Emergency Management personnel were called to the 12000 block of Grantwood Drive, where there was a dog trapped inside the pipe one day after it was reported missing. Using a pipe inspection camera, first responders were able to confirm that the dog was trapped inside, prompting them to dig out the area in an effort to get closer to the scared dog. Driver Whose Dog Bit Deputy During Loudoun County Pursuit In Stolen Car Sentenced A Rochester, NY man whose dog bit a Loudoun County deputy after leading a reckless pursuit that landed four people in the hospital has been sentence to prison time. Justin Connor, of Rochester, NY, who was 27 at the time of the July 2023 incident, was sentenced on May 23, 2024 to seven years and three months in prison by Judge Matthew P. Snow, the county sheriff's office announced.
