Synergy Housewares issued the recall for about 40,000 Wolfgang Puck stainless steel petite tea kettles, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, Aug. 14. The kettles came with a removable tea infuser basket. The recall comes after at least 10 incidents in which the kettle's infuser basket lid came loose and fell during use. Fieldsheer Apparel Technologies issued the recall for about 45,000 heated socks, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, Aug. 7. The socks can cause pain and injuries when worn during activities that generate a combination of heat, friction, moisture, and pressure. Prince William County police responded around 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 26 to the Watt Buddhacheya Mongkol Buddhist Temple in the 3900 block of Old Bridge Road to investigate, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
