Several Lanes Blocked By I-495 Crash At Springfield Interchange: DOT

Several lanes were shut down on I-495 in Fairfax County on Tuesday afternoon during the evening commute following a crash that was reported in the area.

Some motorists were delayed on Oct. 15, when there was a reported crash in the southbound lanes of the interstate at the Springfield Interchange that resulted in multiple lane closures while crews cleared the scene.

Delays were estimated to be approximately three miles.

No details about the crash have been released.
