Todd Ehardt, 25, was fatally stabbed during a fight in a Sudley Road parking lot in Manassas around 10:20 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25, county police said. Bobby Damont Gross has been charged with murder in the incident.

Meanwhile, Todd was being remembered in his obituary as someone who made others feel special in crucial moments, who was a protective big brother to his younger sister, Emily, and admired his older brother, Sean.

A Battlefield High School graduate, Todd worked in construction with the men in his family, and was passionate about cars.

"Todd was known for being a caring and compassionate person who tried to help others, often giving assistance to the homeless and always willing to stand up for the less fortunate," his obituary reads. "He loved his family and cared about his friends."
