Shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, officers from the Arlington Police Department were called to the 4600 block of Kenmore Avenue to investigate reports of shots fired in the area. The .22 caliber handgun was discovered in the Mount Solon, VA man's bag after the checkpoint X-ray machine alerted officers to take a closer look on Thursday, Nov. 17, TSA spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein said.
