Walgreens plans to close about 1,200 stores over three years amid a decline in prescription drug payments and a rise in online competition. About 500 closures will come in 2025, the company announced in a statement released Tuesday morning, Oct. 15. Specific sites for store closures were not announced. Police have announced the arrest of a bank robber wanted in incidents in both Stafford and Prince William County. Bobby Winstead III, 34, of Lorton, has been charged with robbery, attempted robbery, and use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and using a mask with the intent to conceal his identity in connection with the series of incidents dating back to early February, authorities announced. A 53-year-old man wanted for a woman's North Carolina murder was captured following a police pursuit in Alexandria, authorities said. Alexandria police received a BOLO for Rahman Ferguson just before 11 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, a spokesperson for the police department said.
