Nicholas Thompson, 33, of Ashburn, was killed after attempting to evade a traffic stop while speeding away from troopers before he ultimately lost control and violently crashed. Police have identified the 35-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on Interstate 66 over the weekend. Cody P. Riley, 36, of Owens Cross Roads, AL, was riding east at an excessive rate of speed on a 2018 Yamaha FZ09, when he lost control around 8:25 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, Virginia State Police said.
