Police arrested two people after one was caught shoplifting at a Stafford Walmart, authorities announced.
Walmart workers caught a woman later identified as Natalie Hardee, 40, of Woodbridge, stuffing items into a duffel bag at the Village Parkway store in Stafford on Saturday, Aug. 19, Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said.
Hardee left the store after being confronted by employees, and left in a vehicle driven by Brian Padgett, 36, of Annandale, Decatur said.

Moments after hitting a utility pole in his Toyota Tacoma on Truslow Road in Stafford, Dustin Elliott got out of the vehicle and fled on foot, County Sheriff David Decatur said.

Nearly nine months after a Virginia shooting, authorities have made two arrests.
Stafford residents Markus Collins, 33, and Jayden Jones, 19, were charged with attempted murder, aggravated malicious wounding by mob, and weapons offenses in the Nov. 28, 2022 incident, Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said.
