'Dislike:' District Man Who Killed Cousin Over Instagram Beef Gets Time, Feds Say
A social media spat between cousins led to the death of one and a near decade-long sentence for the other, federal officials say. Despite prosecutors seeking a longer term, District resident Lewkus Turner, 29, was sentenced to 8.5 years in prison after shooting and killing his cousin in Southeast DC after the pair got into an argument over Instagram posts.
