Infant Locked Inside Hot Car In Stafford, No-Show Father Sought: Police
Police in Stafford County were looking for the dad of a one-month-old girl who was locked in a hot car over the weekend, they said.Officers found the baby on Sunday, Sept. 18 near Ferry Road and Randolph Road, with no parents or guardians in sight, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
The baby's father, 32-year-old Joseph Carratura, was contacted. He told police he would arrive at the convenience store, where the baby was left alone, shortly after their conversation, officials reported.
Sadly, 45 minutes later, Carratura had still not shown up, police said.

Stafford County police are still looking for a missing teen, officials said. Layla Alvarez was last seen in Stafford on September 8, but has not been seen or heard from since, according to the AWARE Foundation.
The 16-year-old was described as 5'0 tall, with brown hair and brown eyes, and weighing 170 pounds, police reported.
Alvarez was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black leggings, and black converse sneakers, with her hair in a bun, the AWARE Foundation said.
She has a tattoo of a snake and a rose with the letters "TYL" on her right arm, the AWARE Foundation detailed.

Four minors were reported missing in the D.C. area on Tuesday, August 9, according to law enforcement.
Tania Outlaw is a 12-year-old black female, 5'1 tall and 100 pounds, who was last seen on August 9 in the 1200 block of Monroe Street, the D.C. Police Department said. She has red hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a multicolored stripe shirt with black flip flops, authorities said.
