Two women from Maryland who crossed state lines are facing serious charges after being busted for multiple retail thefts in Virginia, police say.
Loredana Sardaru, 39, and Ilie Anisoara, 31, both of Ellicott City, were arrested this week in connection to a series of reported thefts at the Leesburg Premium Outlet Mall on Fort Evans Road NE.

A retail theft crew who took the trek from New York to Virginia to steal more than $20,000 in merchandise has been apprehended in Fairfax County, authorities announced.
Henry Rozo-Olarte, 50, Maria Garcia-Casallas, 55, and Angelica Velasquez Grajales, 42, all of New York, are facing a host of charges after being busted with thousands of dollars in stolen items by the department's Tysons Urban Team.

Victim Who Withdrew $10K From VA Bank Was Followed By Trio Who Stole It, Police Say
Warrants have been issued for a pair from New Jersey and New York who police said targeted a victim who withdrew a large amount of cash at a Virginia bank.
Pedro Bernal Montoya, 43, of New Jersey, and Antonio Ramos Acevedo, 33, of New York, watched as the victim took out $10,000 from a Springfield, VA bank on March 21, at 3:13 p.m., Fairfax County police said. Police did not say where in NJ or NY the men were from.
They then followed the victim to a shopping center, where they broke into their vehicle and stole the money, police said.

Three people have been arrested in a four-month stealing spree at a Fairfax County mall — none of whom area from the area, police said.
Oscar William Laverde Laverde, 56, of New York, and Sindia Noguera, 43, of New Jersey, are both in custody, while Claudia Suarez, 45, of New York, remains at large, county police said. Online records show Noguera is from Elizabeth, NJ.

A Purceville pair has been charged in two Leesburg burglaries, authorities said.
Samuel Jenkins III, 46, and Abigail Laura, 38, were identified as the pair who went into a business on North King Street around 3 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, and stealing property, Leesburg police said.
Then, on Friday, Jan. 26, the two went into a business on North Street NW around midnight, and stole more property, police said.

An armed 7-Eleven robber was taken into custody in Loudoun County this week, police said.
Deandre G. Tyer, 29, went into the store at 21880 Ryan Center Way in Ashburn around 11:10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, flashed a handgun, and took an undisclosed number of items before fleeing the store on foot, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
