Virginia Armed Robbery Suspects Nabbed After High-Stakes Pursuit: Police Two suspects are behind bars after an armed robbery at a Fredericksburg convenience store led to a dramatic police pursuit and a K9-assisted manhunt, authorities say. The incident began shortly after 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1, when Fredericksburg Police responded to a robbery at the Express Food Mart on Princess Anne Street.  According to investigators, 24-year-old Dion Lamont Parker of District Heights entered the store, pretended to shop, and then pulled a gun from his waistband, demanding money.  The clerk handed over cash, and Parker fled in a red Chevy S-10 truck, police said…

There was a heavy police presence in the area of 10200 Main Street after 5 p.m. on July 3, as investigators looked into reports of an attempted abduction of an adult in the middle of the day. Cleaning Crew Carjacked, K9 Helps Capture Suspects In Fredericksburg, Police Say A 21-year-old man and a juvenile have been arrested in a Fredericksburg carjacking, police said. Officers were called to Carl D. Silver Parkway for the carjacking where a cleaning crew had been forced from their car at knifepoint on May 24, police said. Joseph Wells, 21, of Stafford, and a juvenile both fled the area, authorities said. Wanted Suspect Barricades Himself Inside Stafford County Home (Update) A wanted suspect surrendered peacefully after barricading himself inside of a Stafford County home, police said. Deputies in Stafford County were notified that the suspect, whose name was not released, was in a home on Edwards Drive around 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, Major Shawn Kimmitz said. Deputies surrounded the home, but the man refused to leave. K9 and drone teams were called to the scene, and the man ultimately surrendered peacefully sometime around noon. Virginia Teens Nabbed In Maryland For Stealing Car, Leading Police Chase: Police Two teenagers who fled from police in a stolen vehicle from Virginia have been arrested in Montgomery County, say authorities. The teens stole the car from Loudoun County and were caught after a police pursuit in Silver Spring that ended near Sherwood Forest Drive, according to the Montgomery County Police.  A juvenile female passenger remained in the vehicle and was taken into custody, say officials. The driver was arrested with the assistance of other officers and a K9 unit.  Both teens were transported to be interviewed and the driver was charged with multiple motor …
