Gun Stolen From Virginia Found On Fugitive During Maryland Traffic Stop, Deputies Say
A fugitive in Maryland was in the wrong place at the wrong time when he was caught with a Glock stolen out of Virginia during a traffic stop. Jamar Harvey, 21, who was already wanted on assault and other charges, is behind bars following a timely traffic stop that was conducted by members of the Frederick County Sheriff's Office. Shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of East Street and East Patrick Street, leading to Harvey's arrest. High-Risk Traffic Stop Yields Drugs From Car Thieves In Northern VA, Sheriff Says
A game of grand theft auto ended in a drug bust for car thieves in Stafford County, authorities said. Deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office stopped a stolen Toyota Corolla heading south on Warrenton Road near the Falmouth Bridge around 8:55 p.m. Thursday, June 22 in South Stafford, Sheriff David Decatur said. The three occupants were ordered from the vehicle and detained. The investigation revealed the trio had stolen the vehicle from a woman nicknamed "West Virginia" to run an errand, Decatur said.
