Elizabeth Carol Powell Charged With Child Neglect In VA
A woman who left a toddler unsupervised "for an extended period of time" was charged with felony child neglect following an investigation in Prince William County, police say. Woodbridge resident Elizabeth Carol Powell, 64, was charged following an investigation after a Good Samaritan came to the aid of a 2-year-old boy who was found on Wednesday afternoon and alerted the authorities. According to the Prince William County Police Department, at around 2 p.m. on Jun 26, officers were called to the 11700 block of Chanceford Drive in Woodbridge to investigate reports of the found child.
