White House Gate Crasher Faces DUI, Other Charges In DC: Secret Service One person was taken into custody by Secret Service agents after striking a security gate near the White House, a spokesperson for the agency said. The morning commute was slightly impacted in DC on Tuesday, May 16, when an allegedly drunk driver struck a gate at approximately 4:30 a.m.  near 15th Street and E Street. Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Gugliemi said that the man who crashed was treated the scene by paramedics and will now face charges for DUI and unlawful entry.
