Casting Call Announced In The DMV Area For New CNN Political True Crime Show
A casting call has been announced for a new CNN political true crime show set to film in the DMV area, according to AuditionsFree. The shoot is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 7 through Nov. 18, with exact locations not yet determined. Non-union actors of all ethnicities in the 20s to 60s age range are encouraged to apply by filling out this form. Maryland Man Accused Of Making Threats Of 'His' Militia Targeting Member Of US Congress: DOJ
The Department of Justice has unsealed a criminal complaint charging a Maryland man with sending messages over the Internet threatening to injure a US member of Congress. Annapolis resident Justin Kuchta, 39, was charged with interstate communication containing a threat to injure and was scheduled to appear in US District Court in Baltimore on Wednesday, Sept. 7, authorities announced. Police forced a former Department of Justice lawyer for President Donald Trump to stand outside in his underwear while they raided his home last month, video obtained by CNN shows. Virginia Has First Confirmed Case Of Monkey Pox
The spread of the monkey pox continues to grow in the United States with cases reported in several states. Now, Virginia joins that list after state health officials announced on Thursday, May 26, that a woman has tested positive. Virginia health officials said in a press release the woman recently traveled to an African country where the disease is present. Though, they added, she was not infectious during her travels and has quarantined since returning home. NJ's Kevin Spacey Charged With Handful Of Sex Assaults In UK
New Jersey's Kevin Spacey has been charged with four counts of sexual assault against three men in the United Kingdom, authorities said. The charges were handed down to the 62-year-old South Orange native on Thursday, May 26, according to a release from the London Metropolitan Police Department. The charges date as far back as March 2005, with most of the victims currently in their 30s and 40s, police said.
