Shooter In Southeast DC Sentenced For Killing Maryland Man Outside Father's Home: Feds
A District man has been sentenced to decades in prison for gunning down Maryland native Toussaunt Strong outside his father's home in the Shipley Terrace neighborhood more than three years ago, authorities announced.
Ravel Mills, 29, was found guilty by a jury last October of second-degree murder while armed and other offenses for killing the Montgomery County native in Southeast DC in 2020.
This week, a judge announced that Mills has been sentenced to 29 years in prison, the max possible term.

Voyeuristic Peeping Tom Who Flashed Victim Nabbed With Handgun In DC: Police
A peeping tom who went into his victim's yard exposed himself through a window in Washington DC in 2021 has been identified as a 31-year-old homeless man, authorities said.
Andre Jamar Turman repeatedly entered the victim's yard on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021 on the 200 block of 5th Street, SE, police said. He time and time again looked inside and exposed himself, police said.
Then, he fled the scene.
On Thursday, May 4, 2023, Turman was charged with Stalking, Unlawful Entry, Indecent Exposure, and Voyeurism.
At the time of his arrest, he was found to be in possession of a handgun.…
